One Day, Yes it is very boring day, I searched my name as a key word with various search engines like https://www.google.co.in/search?q=rajeshpardh . Wonder there is no results associated with me instead one or two Google gadgets page which are created in IGoogle era. But me have profiles in almost social web sites, -nothing displayed expect profiles with similar name.
That is the moment I think about a personal page to promote self.
Some peoples says self promoting is one type of mental disorder, some says it is better to build good online reputation. Any way me have enough reasons to start.
Today, our reputation has already been formed before the first handshake. Prospective employers, colleagues, friends and first
dates are Goggling our name to learn more about us.
Personal branding and identity management is an undertaking for which
there are few sins. One of the minor sins is being annoying in the
promotion of my site—nobody likes a link whore!—but the biggest sin,
the cardinal sin, of identity management is silence. If someone looks
for me online and cannot find at all, they might assume that me
don't have an online presence or that they're looking in the wrong
place.
Google employs personalized and local searches when I am signed
into my account. In other words, Google will slightly alter my results to make them more relevant to me based on my
location and what they know about me through my Google account. The person Goggling my name won't have this, so
signing out will give me neutral results that better represent my overall online reputation.
So What Next?...
